Amanda Thomas October 30,2021 Module Two Question 1 Describe one of the beliefs and values of the Navajo as illustrated in your readings. One of the values of the Navajo is that they settle disputes very traditionally "by talking it out". They get together to hear what the issue is and to come to a solution. This also helps determine what the problem is . Module Two Question 2 Describe one way in which the Navajo have incorporated their beliefs and values into the societal structure on the reservation since regaining some autonomy in the 1970's. The Navajo would use the medicinal field to add the belief and values into the societal structure on the reservation. The healers practice modern medicine procedures; they also practice traditional healing and procedures . Module Two Question 3 What beliefs and values can be found in your culture? How do these beliefs and values influence your day-to-day life? Some values are found in many cultures that would happen day-to-day and lifes hard work. I value all these traits. I personally think that these are two key traits that are creating a life that you love, which is something that you would have to work hard for. Module Two Question 4 Adopt the social science perspective to create a list of questions about this issue. Write at least two questions each from the point of view of a psychologist, a sociologist, and an anthropologist.

1. What has more of an impact on our work/life, cultural factors, and environmental factors? 2. How does an unhealthy balance affect one's mental health? 3. What communities have healthy work/life balances and what communities don't? 4. Why do social factors influence work life balance? 5. Why are cultural factors a major deal by environmental factors and vice versa? 6. What is the difference in today's work/life that would balance the past? 7. Would preexposure be an indication or influence on cultural factors? 8. How minor or major to the size of the society or community in which these cultural factors take place?
