Module Two Question 1 Describe one of the beliefs and values of the Navajo as illustrated in your readings. One belief is "talking things over is the way to straighten out troubles". With this belief, they believe its better to talk things out rather than violence or something else. Module Two Question 2 Describe one way in which the Navajo have incorporated their beliefs and values into the societal structure on the reservation since regaining some autonomy in the 1970's. One way they incorporated their beliefs was in their school system. They didn't send their kids to boarding schools or A,erican schools so they focus on their cultures way of life. Module Two Question 3 What beliefs and values can be found in your culture? How do these beliefs and values influence your day-to-day life? One belief is that working hard is how to support your family.
