Shelley Bodovinac Professor Linda Saunders GLST 290 – D09 Respectfully Submitted March 22, 2021 Anthropological and Ethnographic Forum 1 (Module 1) Anthropological perspective is described as an approach in social research that an individual seeks to understand culture from a personal understanding within a culture that is introduced 1 . Anthropologist enter different cultures to understand the actions, motivations and beliefs and form their own opinions they observed 2 . Whether you are researching different cultures in other countries or in your environment, anthropologist research the context of a group of individuals both personally and spiritually to receive a better understanding of their beliefs. When interviewing various cultures the anthropologist is interested in the foods they eat, their belief spirituality and the art that is created; furthermore, understanding why different cultures believes and why they do it. By understanding strengths and being able to observe, anthropologist are able to look at similarities between different cultures and see how the cultures and there diversities and how it continues to mirror the church and spiritual beliefs 3 . Ethnographic fieldwork in anthropology refers to the activity and the culture; therefore, “anthropologists write up their research in accounts called ethnographies, rich descriptions and analyses that include the anthropologists’ experiences of being there. “Being there” has become the ethnographic standard for legitimate anthropological knowledge” 4 . clear vision. Anthropologist map out there specific interviews to acknowledge the geographical or human perception. The cross-cultural interaction in my focus of study is with our American Hero’s that provides myself and every American with our freedom. Because my husband in a Disabled Combat Veteran, I feel that God has given me a mission to assist other veterans return to civilization. When completing my husbands healthcare and financial benefits with the veterans affair, I learned how confusing and time consuming it can be, I also was able to speak with other veterans and their confusion. The most heartbreaking talks I’ve had with our veterans is the fact that they live on the streets and when they were deployed their spouses left them. Since 2013, my husband and I have housed a few of our veterans that was living on the streets, assisted them on their benefits and watched them start their life’s again.
