Introduction:
DNA is a complex molecule that stores all the genetic information. It contains about millions of bases in it. Therefore, the DNA has to be compacted so that it can be fit in a small nucleus. The eukaryotic DNA is compacted by various techniques, such as in the form of chromosomes, nucleosomes, and nuclear matrix.
