Introduction:
A lever is a rigid bar that spins around a pivot. The three components of a lever are: fulcrum (pivot), effort (force) and resistance (load). The fulcrum is a fixed point around which a lever can spin. The effort is the force that can move an object and the resistance is the force applied by an object due to gravity.
