Introduction:
A synovial joint is a most commonly occurring joint in the human body. The bones are placed within a fibrous capsule that has the characteristic joint cavity called as synovial cavity. The joint capsule is surrounded by the synovial membrane. The synovial cavity is filled with a thick and slimy fluid known as synovial fluid which lubricates the joints during movement.
