Concept explainers
In what sense are our bodies machines?
To Explain:The sense in which human body is machine.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Machine is a device use power to apply force in desired direction to produce work. Machine use the mechanical part under the mechanism to apply the force and control the moments.
Human body is also the type of manmade machine where it connects with the different parts of the body and each part of the body is small machines. As each part of the body is internally connected machines which work with their speed. Each part of the body connected with each other parts with some relationship like machine. For example tape recorder, automobiles, memory storage devices, those are the machines which work separately and consider as individual machines.Like a memory storage devices, human body also has a memory storing capability. It movesfast like automobile bike, it can swim like fish. Pulling machine used to pull the object where it uses the electrical or energy from fuel. Similarly human body use mechanical energy to pull the object. Computer uses the programming to solve the problem whereas human brain uses the logic to solve the same problem.
Conclusion:Like the mechanical machine, human body alsoused to do things the way by which machine can do.
