It is an angular or linear distance when a moving object travels normally when attached to another.Persons who are suffering from conditions such as arthritis, joint pain and other joint problems have limited ROM, so it limits the movements and have less ability to perform daily activities.The ROM is important for athletics, dance professionals and also persons who are in the progress of diagnosis and recovery.
