Introduction:
The critical period is that period in which some environmental factors could impact the development of the infant. After two to eight weeks of conception, a zygote which gets attached to the uterus is now known as an embryo. This period is an embryonic period in which embryo continues cell specialization and organ development. Embryonic period is the example of the critical period for embryo because an embryo is most vulnerable to diseases, harmful toxins or substances ingested by mother through the placenta.
