Introduction:

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors are types of drugs. These inhibit the action of monoamine oxidase enzymes. The inhibition could be of one or both the enzymes (monoamine oxidase A, monoamine oxidase B). These drugs are well known as strong anti-depressants. They also act as active therapeutic agents for social phobia and. panic disorder
