Explanation of Solution

Given:

  $n=25$

The population is thousand of bags of potato.

The condition of random selection is satisfied because the sample is SRS.

The sample should be less than 10% of the population. Here, 25potato bags are less than 10% of the thousands of potato bags. Hence, this condition met.

The last condition is, number of success and failure must be $\ge 10$ . Therefore, number of successes =3<10 and number failures = 25-3=22 $\ge 10$ which is not met. Hence, all the conditions of confidence interval are not met.
