Question
Chapter 8.1, Problem 2MC
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The necessity of both cell division and apoptosis for the development of an organism.
Concept introduction:
Cell division is the method in which a parent cell divides to form two or more daughter cells. After the cell division, cytoplasm also divides and is known as cytokinesis. Apoptosis is the programmed cell death that mostly occurs in multicellular organisms. It is the coordinated events which dismantles a cell.
