Summary Introduction

To discuss:

Organic and inorganic components of the bone matrix, their respective contributions to bone strength; and the helical arrangement of collagen fibers in bone.

Introduction:

Bones are calcified tissues contain 60% of the inorganic component called hydroxyapatite, 30% organic component called proteins and 10% of water. They have three major functions, which helps to provide mechanical support for movement, regulation of mineral homeostasis and protecting important organs. The skeletons health was maintained by frequent changes of old bone with new through remodeling processing bone resorption of cells, osteoclast, the bone forming cells and osteoblast.
