Introduction:
Cerebrovascular accident (CVA), also known as stroke, occurs due to blockage of blood circulation in the brain. It can be a result of either blood clot or rupture of blood vessels. Like CVA, the TIA also happens due to blockage of blood flow to the brain, but TIA lasts for a small period of time in comparison to CVA.
