Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Kepler described the planetary motion and laid out three laws. As per second law, a line which joins the Sun and a planet sweep out same areas during same intervals of time.
Kepler’s second law is applicable individually to every planet. As each planet orbits in a different elliptical orbit they sweep different areas in same unit period.
Conclusion:
The areas swept by Mars and Earth per unit of time are different.
