1. Grocery store: If a 10 kg box of rice costs $ 70and a 20 kg box costs $ 120, then 20 kg box is better because costs of per kg of rice for this riceare cheaper.

In case of 10 kg box,

Cost of 1 kg box of rice = $\frac{\text{70}}{\text{10}}\text{=}\text{\$}\text{}\text{7}$

In case of 20 kg box,

Cost of 1 kg box of rice $\text{=}\frac{\text{120}}{\text{20}}\text{=}\text{\$}\text{}\text{}\text{6}$

2. Cooking: To make chocolate milk, you combine 1 spoon of chocolate powder to 1 glass of milk. So, ratio of 1 spoon of chocolate powder to 1 glass of milk is $1:1$
3. Travelling: While taking a road trip from City A to City B, one must travel approximately 60 miles. Assuming that the car travels at 30 miles per hour, to find the time taken to travel to City B divide the total miles traveled (60 miles) by 30.Time taken to travel to travel to city B = $\frac{60}{30}=2$ hours by car
