Concurrency control:
The process of ensuring the data which should be updated correctly and appropriately when multiple transactions are concurrently executed in DBMS then it is termed as concurrency control.
- It coordinates the simultaneous transaction while preserving from deadlock.
- It ensures that one user work does not affect the other user’s work.
- There are two
mechanism involved in concurrency control- Optimistic concurrency control
- Pessimistic concurrency control.
