Explanation of Solution

Transaction:

A transaction is small set of changes which is made to the database. The transaction done to the database may or may not affect the changes to the content of the database. The execution takes place as a single unit.

Needs of defining and processing the rights and responsibilities:

• The necessity of defining processing rights and responsibilities to the database is due to the reason that only authorized person has the permission to access the data.
• To work with the DBMS, the user must sign in/signup before they access the database.
• This method ensures that only the authorized person has the permission to access database.
• This security mechanism usually involves the login and password process.
• So, only the authorized person has the right to change or update the information in an application.
