Explanation of Solution

Newton's first law of motion: According to Newton's first law of motion, the body will remain at its original state of rest or maintains its motion unless some external force comes into effect. In other words, until and unless a body is compelled to change its initial steady state or state of motion, the body will persist to maintain its state.

Newton's second law of motion: According to Newton's second law of motion, the velocity of an object changes when a force is exerted on it. This change in velocity with respect to time is termed as acceleration.

The relationship between the acceleration, mass and force of an object based on Newton's second law is given by,

  F=m.a

Where

  m=mass of the body

  a=acceleration in the body

If a net force acts on a body, then there will be some acceleration. So, the acceleration will be non-zero. It means that the body is accelerating.

Newton's third law of motion: The Newton's third law of motion states that for any action there is always a reaction which is equal but acting in opposite direction. The third law explains how the lift is generated by a wing and the thrust produced by a jet engine.
