Case summary:
AM Centre opened a leadership in energy and environment design (LEED) gold certified professional basketball arena in the country. AM Centre arena has not only developed the state-of-art sporting facilities, but also the environmentally sustainable building.
The few factors in the AM Centre project that helped to obtain the LEED certification are; the building roof is designed in such a way that it reduces daytime heat by using the insulated and reflective materials, energy saving heating and cooling systems, and also have preferred parking for hybrid and other energy efficient vehicles, and the centre is maintained by using the environmentally friendly cleaning products and so on.
