Introduction:

Denitrification is a method of reduction of nitrate ions to nitrogen gas, that is done by anaerobic bacteria. Denitrification is the last step of the nitrogen cycle. In this process firstly nitrates reduce nitrites and finally released nitrogen gas. Bacillus and Pseudomonas are among those bacteria, which are capable of denitrification, under anaerobic conditions.
