Introduction:

The cerebral cortex can be classified into four sections or lobes: frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, temporal lobe. The cerebral cortex is formed of tightly packed neurons is wrinkly in structure. Convoluted structures reflect the presence of sulci or valleys and gyri or hills and fissures or deep valleys.
