Introduction:
Chemical synapses are specific junctions across which the cells pass signals to each other. These are a part of the nervous system, and non-neuronal cells like muscles or glands. An electrical synapse is a mechanical and electrically conductive linkage. The nerve impulse passes the chemicals by the aid of neurotransmitters.
