For Exercises 1−5, choose the correct letter.
What is an equation of the line shown in the graph at the right?
A. y=−32x+4
C. y=−23x+4
B. y=23x+4
D. y=−23x+6

To write an equation of line for shown graph and choose the correct option.
Answer to Problem 1STP
c. y=−23x+4
Explanation of Solution
Given information: We have given a linear graph.
Solution: From the graph, we can see that the line crosses at the y -axis at (0, 4)
So, the y -intercept (b) is = 4.
If we go 2 units downward and 3 unit right then we get another point (3, 2) on the graph
Therefore, slope = RiseRun=2−43−0=−23
So, the slope ( m ) of line is −23.
Now, plug the value of slope ( m )= −23 and y -intercept (b) = 4 in slope intercept form
y=mx+b
y=(−23)x+(4)
y=−23x+4
Therefore, the equation of linear equation is y=−23x+4.

Solving A C = B for C provides youwith the coefficients of a natural cubic spline curve that interpolates these points.Additionally, you have been given A and B, but some elements are missing. Moreover, the last two rowsof A are entirely absent. Your task is to determine and fill in the missing elements. For the last two rows,enforce a zero tangent at the beginning (in p1) and a not-a-knot boundary condition in p2. The matricesA and B are given as follows:Explain how to find the entries of A and B .
