Introduction:

Cell membrane made up of lipid bilayer, the polar head of plasma membrane is hydrophilic and interact with polar molecules and water, non-polar tails are hydrophobic and it makes the membrane impermeable to most of the water soluble molecules. The protein present in the membrane performs specialized function such as transport, carriers, and receptors.
