 The reason why the student sees no blood cells under a microscope after she pours some distilled water into the blood sample.

Introduction:

The hypotonic solution contains solutes in lower concentration at one side of the membrane. It allows the movement of water across the membrane along the concentration gradient and results in swelling and rupturing of the cell.
