Introduction: Fertilization is the process in which two different gametes, one from male and other from female, fuse together to produce an undifferentiated diploid cell called zygote. Fertilization can be of two types, internal and external. The internal fertilization takes place inside the body of the female and the external fertilization takes place outside the body of the mother.
