Question
Chapter 50, Problem 5TYK
Summary Introduction
To review:
The pituitary hormones involved in regulating the human menstrual cycle.
Introduction:
Menstrual cycle is the reproductive cycle occurring in females at the onset of puberty leading to heavy discharge of blood due to hormonal concentration changes and shedding of endometrium layer lined in female uterus. Pituitary hormones LH and FSH, and ovarian hormones such as progesterone interaction leads to menstrual cycle.
