Interpretation: For each of the given ionic compound that contains a polyatomic ion naming should be done.
Concept introduction: The naming of the ionic compounds containing polyatomic ions is same as that of simple ionic compounds.
While naming the ionic compounds, the name of cation is written first followed by the name of anion.
If an ionic compound contains both a polyatomic cation and a polyatomic anion, the names of both polyatomic ions would be written. The name of the ionic compound that contains a metal that forms more than one type of ion and polyatomic anion is given by
Name of cation (charge of cation in Roman numeral in parentheses) + polyatomic anion
