Interpretation:
The reason as to why scientists were inclined to think of an atom as a miniature solar system in the nuclear model of the atom is to be stated. The similarities and differences between electrons in orbit around a nucleus and planets in orbit around the sun are to be stated.
Concept introduction:
An atom is made up of three subatomic particles-neutrons, protons, and electrons. Neutron and protons are present in the nucleus of the atom, whereas electrons are revolving outside the nucleus in an atom. The electrons are arranged in the orbit of atoms according to their energy.
