Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation: The plot for a regular solution with $\xi =-1.40$, $p_{\text{A}}=15.0\text{kPa}$ and $p_{\text{B}}=11.6\text{kPa}$ has to be drawn.

Concept introduction: In ideal solutions, there is no interaction between the molecules forming the gaseous mixture. In real solutions, there exists appreciable interaction between the molecules forming the gaseous mixture leading to a positive or negative deviation from the ideal total pressure.
