The heart’s natural pacemaker is the SA (sinoatrial) node. It is also known as the sinus node. The work of SA node is to generate electrical impulses of the heart. It is a major part of cardiac conduction system and helps to control the heart rate. It consists of cells that are located in the upper part of the right atrium wall.
