Chapter 47, Problem 6U
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
There are different organs in different organisms for the purpose of respiration. In fishes, amphibians and other aquatic and marine organisms, the respiratory organs are gills, in mammals the respiratory organs are the lungs, in trees and plants the respiratory organs are stomata and in amphibians there is yet another mode of respiration which is the skin. The respiration through the skin is called cutaneous respiration.
