Introduction:
Neurogenesis is defined as a process of formation of neurons from the neural stem cells. Adult neurogenesis is markedly differ from the developmental neurogenesis. Earlier it was assumed by the researchers that brain cells does not divide after attaining the maturity and shows no further mitosis but the new studies shows adult neurogenesis in all vertebrates.
