Chapter 4.4, Problem 36AYP
Summary Introduction

To write:

About the differences between dense regular connective tissue and dense irregular connective tissue.

Introduction:

Dense connective tissue has a comparatively big amount of protein fibers, forming dense bundles and filling almost the entire extracellular space. Most dense connective tissue cells are fibroblasts in the form of spindles. Dense connective tissue is divided into two different groups: regular and irregular.

Blurred answer
Students have asked these similar questions
What is the functional significance of the arrangement of collagen fibers in the dense regular and dense irregular connective tissue?
What is a similarity between dense connective and loose connective tissue?
Which of the three principal components of connective tissue is most visible or identifiable under the microscope?
