Introduction: The receptors present in our body that sense any change in the surrounding environment both external as well as internal are termed as a sensory receptor. These sensory receptors are specialized neurons that receive the stimuli and transmit the signals. Human skin is the largest sense organ. Thermoreceptors are also a type of sensory receptors that detect any change in temperature.
