Summary Introduction
Introduction: T lymphocytes are also known as T-cells, which are primarily produced in the bone marrow. It is then transported to the thymus where the maturation and multiplication of T-cells take place. It is divided into three types based on its surface receptor. They are helper T cells, cytotoxic T cells, and regulatory T cells. The matured T cells are passed to the tissues of the lymph nodes where it gets activated upon entering of the pathogen.
