Vaccines:
A vaccine is a prophylactic measure to prevent the occurrence of a certain disease. It usually involves suspension or killing of weak pathogens or its components that are responsible for the disease. The vaccination is usually injected to humans or animals.
Vaccination has played a great role in extinction of diseases such as small pox and polio. They may also confer passive immunity by providing antibodies or lymphocytes already made by an animal or human donor.
