The boxplot summarize the distributions of average monthly rainfall for Princeton and Tucson.
From the boxplot of the Princeton, we can see that the line on the left side is more than the line on the right side so the data of average monthly rainfall in Princeton is left skewed. But as we can see in the boxplot of Tucson, the line of the left side is less than the line at the right side. Thus, the data of the average monthly rainfall in Tucson is right skewed. Also, we can say that the mean of the monthly average rainfall in Princeton is on the left of the peak whereas the mean of the monthly average rainfall in Tucson is on the right of the peak.
