Introduction: Cell is the basic functional unit of life. All living forms are composed of cells. In higher forms, the cells have evolved morphologically to perform specific functions. For example, cells that have large vacuoles often play a role in food storage and nutrition. Similarly, cells that form pseudopodia perform the function of phagocytosis and are part of the immune system.
