Introduction:

There are various morphological as well as physiological changes that take place in species over time. Sometimes, an organ or a particular chemical may remain the same in a number of species morphologically or structurally, but their function change. This makes it difficult to recognize any closeness between the species. For example, a similar hormone may occur in a number of species, but will not indicate any closeness in them.
