To explain: The types of connective tissues and also indicate the cells and structures in two micrographs. Compare the matrix of connective tissues.
Introduction: Connective tissue binds, supports, and connects the organs and tissue. There are three major components present in all the connective tissues, which include ground substance, cells, and fibers (collagenous and elastic fibers). Elastic fibers give resilience and stretch. The collagenous fibers are flexible and strong. The connection to neighboring tissues is provided by reticular fibers.
