Introduction:

Ribosomal RNA is a nucleic acid presented in ribosomes. It helps in synthesizing amino acids that are responsible for protein synthesis. The r-RNA is transcribed from the DNA and is translated into protein. Based on the nucleotide sequence of the r-RNA, the classification scheme in the taxonomy has been evolved.
