Chapter 4, Problem 4PL
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
A microscope that uses the compound lens system that means two sets of lenses is known as a compound microscope. It helps in obtaining the higher magnification and a two-dimensional image of an object. The different parts of the microscope performed different functions. The coarse adjustment knob moves stage towards or away from an objective lens, whereas fine adjustment knob moves stage slightly for sharp focus. The objective lens and eyepiece provide different magnification. Mirrors in microscope make image to appear inverted and backward.
