Summary Introduction

To analyze:

The appearance of letter e through scanning objective of a compound microscope.

Introduction:

A compound microscope is an instrument that magnifies an object. A compound microscope uses transmitted light as a source of light. The light passes through the sample and that only thin material may observe. The different parts of the microscope performed different functions. The coarse adjustment knob moves the stage towards or away from the objective lens to focus widely. The fine adjustment knob moves stage slightly for more sharp focus. The objective lens has different magnification powers that depend on the type of model. The 40x magnification is longer than 10x magnification. The eyepiece of the microscope has a 10x magnifying lens. The 10x objective lens magnifies 100 times and 40x objective lens magnifies 400 times. Mirrors in the microscope make the image to appear inverted and backward.
