Introduction:

A cell is composed of various organelles that play a variety of roles in order to maintain the overall functions of the cell. These organelles not only play their role but also regulate the functions of other organelles, that is, they are constantly interacting with each other in order to function.

For example, protein synthesis is initiated by transcription of deoxy ribonucleic acid (DNA) into messenger-ribonucleic acid (mRNA) inside the cell that is exported to the cytoplasm; ribosome gets attached to mRNA and starts the process of translation. This peptide reaches endoplasmic reticulum for folding and modification and then transported to Golgi apparatus where it is sorted, packaged, and transported further.

This way organelles interact and function among themselves.
