Program Plan Intro

 Malware:

• It may be a software or a program that is designed to cause harm to a computer, client or a server.
• Types of malware are viruses, worms, Trojan horse programs, spyware, rootkit, and so on.
  • Virus: It is a program that damages a computer or mobile device by changing the way it functions.
  • Worms: It is a malware computer program that lives in the memory which replicates itself in order to spread to other computers and devices.
  • Spyware: It is a program that is placed on a computer or a mobile device without the knowledge of the user. It collects data about the user secretly.
  • Rootkits: It is a program that allows other person to take complete control to the computer remotely. It hides in a folder on the computer and that folder appears empty because of the instruction of the rootkit to the computer.
  • Trojan horses: It is a destructive program which disguised as an original program.
