Project identification and selection process:

The three different steps performed in the process of identifying and selecting project are as follows:

• Identifying potential development projects
  • The process of identification can be carried out by any important persons of management like CEO for small and middle size of organization.
    • For large organizations, this process is carried out by the most senior person.
  • This process can also be carried out by the senior manager of the Information systems and group of application development teams.
  • The user can identify the project committee members, both senior managers and system analysts.
