Bank Charges
A bank charges $10 per month plus the following check fees for a commercial checking account:
$.10 each for fewer than 20 checks
$.08 each for 20-39 cheeks
$.06 each for 40-59 checks
$.04 each for 60 or more checks
The bank also charges an extra $15 if the balance of the account falls below $400 (before any check fees are applied). Write a
Input Validation: Do not accept a negative value for the number of checks written. If a negative value is given for the beginning balance, display an urgent message indicating the account is overdrawn.

- (Simulation) Write a program to simulate the roll of two dice. If the total of the two dice is 7 or 11, you win; otherwise, you lose. Embellish this program as much as you like, with betting, different odds, different combinations for win or lose, stopping play when you have no money left or reach the house limit, displaying the dice, and so forth. (Hint: Calculate the dots showing on each die with the expression dots=(int)(6.0randomnumber+1), where the random number is between 0 and 1.)arrow_forwardExercise I- Medicine Write a program that asks the user to enter the name of the medicine (t for ThroX, f for FeliX), his mass. The user should enter as well if he has a prescription or not. The program will calculate the dosage using: age and his ThroX without prescription -The max dosage should be 0.75 mL -The dosage = mass / 150 -The number of pills per day to take is 1 ThroX with prescription -The dosage =mass * 3 / 150 -The number of pills per day to take is 5 FeliX with prescription -The dosage = 0.77 mL FeliX without prescription -The dosage should be between 0.3 and 0.7 -The dosage = mass * 0.009 -The number of pills per day to take is 2 -The number of pills per day to take is 6 The program should display the dosage and the number of pills to be taken per day if the requirements are full filled, otherwise it display "Please check your doctor for a prescription". In case the medicine does not exist in the database, the program display “Your medicine is not in our database!"…arrow_forwardRetail price calculator Write a program that asks the user to enter an item’s wholesale cost and its markup percentage. It should then display the item’s retail price. For example: • If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item’s retail price is 10.00.• If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item’s retail price is 7.50. The program should have a method named calculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item.arrow_forward

The program should take as input the previous balance on the account and the total amount of additional charges during the month. The program should then compute the interest for the month, the total new balance (the previous balance plus additional charges plus interest), and the minimum payment due. Assume the interest is 0 if the previous balance was 0 but if the previous balance was greater than 0 the interest is 2% of the total owed (previous balance plus additional charges). Assume the minimum payment is as follows: new balance for a new balance less than $50 $50.00 for a new balance between $50 and $300 (inclusive) 20% of the new balance for a new balance over $300 So if the new balance is $38.00 then the person must pay the whole $38.00; if the balance is $128 then the person must pay $50; if the balance is $350 the minimum…arrow_forward
- Python Programming onlyarrow_forwardAn online book club awards points to its customers based on the number of books purchased each month. Points are awarded as follows: Books Purchased Points Earned 1 5 2 15 3 30 4 or more 60 Write a program that asks the user to enter the number of books purchased this month and then displays the number of points awarded.arrow_forwardWrite a program that can calculate the future and present value of an investment given various parameters. When you calculate the future value of an investment, the more years you hold the investment and the higher the rate of return, the more valuable it is. For example, a $1000 investment at 7% return will give you $1070 (1000+ 0.07-1000) after one year and $1144.90 (1070+0.07-1007) after two years. However, because of inflation, that $1144.90 after two years is not worth the same as $1144.90 now. If the inflation rate is 2%, $1144.90 in two years is the equivalent of $1100.44 now-i.e- L02 More generally, the present value, p, of an investment is 1.02² 1144.90 f p= where is the inflation rate as a percentage. Typically, one would add to the investment with annual contributions. Let's say you start with a $1000 investment and add $100 every year. Therefore, after the first year, you will have $1177 - 7% return on $1100i.e. $1000 initial investment + the $100 year one contribution.…arrow_forward
- Running the program Your program should take 5 arguments: start annual years return inflation where start is the initial investment amount annual is the amount that is added to the investment every year years is the number of years that the investment is held return is the annual investment return expressed as a percentage inflation is the annual inflation rate expressed as a percentage So, to calculate the future and present value of $1000 investment after 10 years where you add $100 every year with a 7% return and 2% inflation, you give the following arguments and get this output: $ ./fv 1000 100 10 7 2 Future Value: $3445.51 Present Value: $2826.52 Writing the code Starter code is provided for you below int main(int arge, char **argv ) { int a, n double value, present, I, is value= atof (argv[1]); a = atoi (argv[2]); natoi (argv[3]); r = atof (argv[4])/100; i = atof(argv[5])/100; // TODO write your code here printf ("Future Value: $%.2f\n", value) printf("Present Value: $%.2f\n",…arrow_forwardProgram by using C # C sharp My student number :1910206534arrow_forwardSubject-advance mathsarrow_forward
