Asthma is known as an inflammatory disease in the airways of the lungs and it leads to difficulty in breathing. Microbial infection, pollution, allergy, medication, and genetics are major causes of asthma. The major symptoms associated with asthma are cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, tightness in the area of the chest, and fatigue. Rescue inhalers, nebulizers, bronchodilators, anti-inflammatory drugs, and breathing exercises are used to control asthma.
